The final stage of installation or repair of plastic windows is the installation of quality window covers, external drains and sliding doors. These elements not only give the window a neat appearance, but also perform protective functions: they drain water, prevent bloating and freezing of the seams.

A window sill is not just a flower shelf. A properly installed window sill completes the window design, protects against cold and humidity, serves as a decorative element.

The most popular option I usually offer is PVC. You can buy the material yourself or you can trust me. The wood and the artificial stone are discussed separately.

The reason is that sometimes you have to remove an old window without damaging the rear window: you have to cut it into small segments, and this is the time.

In 99% of cases, I use the usual painted casting — it is the most practical and affordable option. The top casting on the balcony frame is more expensive due to the difficulty of access, the final price depends on the length. Which window is better, plastic or wooden?

If practicality, moisture resistance and easy care are important, plastic (PVH «sautin», from 100 rubles/m² material). If you need an environmentally friendly «breathing» material and a classic style of wood, discuss separately.

Do I need to warm the window?

The space under the window is definitely filled with a foam mount; this prevents bloating and freezing.

Can I install a drain if the window is already there?

I'll take the old drain clean if there is one and install a new one without damaging the finish.

How long does the installation take?

The window and drain on one window — about 1–2 hours. More complex configurations (demonstration of the old with retained drains, upper drain with difficult access) can take longer.
