Windows from a builder in Minsk: sealant?
You go around the city and you look at new buildings; the windows are beautiful, colorful, unusual shapes and sizes. The eyes are happy. But behind this beauty often lies a picture that is not exactly rainbow.
Typical window problems from the builder
Here's what's often left behind:
- The lack of a sealant.Yes, there are times when the compressor is not installed or it is not properly designed for this profile.
- The glass packaging is not properly secured. The support plates are either stuck or not at all, and the creatures don't have a clear geometry, so they cough up and blow up.
- Hurry and carelessness. The main thing was to close the gap, not make it quality.
This is a common occurrence in rented premises. The owner invested in cosmetics, and the windows just got stuck.
Why is this happening?
And the builders are saving on everything that's invisible to the eye. Beautiful color profile, yes, it's marketing. But good quality furniture, the right sealer, the right assembly, it's a cost that can be saved.
What if you get tired of windows like this?
If you rent a room and you're cold, or you buy a new apartment and you find that the windows "do not keep warm", don't give up.
- Set up the sealant. If it's not there, that's the first thing you have to do.
- The cross-section of the creature.Restoring geometry with support plates.
- Adjusting and adjusting the furniture.Often, windows were not even set up after installation.
A good manager who takes care of his tenants will definitely allocate funds for such repairs.
A case in point
The photo of this post is of windows in one of the Minsk buildings. Through the walls are the same windows, but in terrible condition. And here, apparently, the manager was conscious and spent on getting the windows in order.
